Yesterday, I had to wake up at 7 (which is too early for me) to go to TV Eskwela for extra practice. I went there at nine and went home at seven. The people there are really warm and friendly; but there’s still this atmosphere of seriousness in the place. There’s going to be show this saturday. I don’t really feel worthy to join since I only started a week ago.
I actually only wanted to go there to learn to act since that’s the only place I can find (for now); but I stumbled onto something really useful when I was there. It was dancing. Yes, I know it sounds weird; but it’s actually helps in everyday things. They emphasize on being relaxed and I’m notoriously stiff in both Karate and Taekwondo. Hehe =>
Another thing that I found useful (okay, probably more like fun) is singing. Although I’m not really good at it (okay, I suck), I still wanna’ try it out. It’s too bad I don’t know who said this; but this is one of my favorite quotes. "The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step" This is what makes me do what I do. Tagalog and studying’s an exception; soon, it won’t be. I was told that Tagalog’s really important in Philippine acting. I promised myself that I will study and start learning Tagalog next quarter. Oh yeah, it’s the Phantom of the Opera that made me want to join acting.
I just went to an ENT specialist and found that I can’t actually cast it. I can only either leave it alone or have an operation. The good news is that the bridge of my nose only moved by a millimeter or two. It was actually just the swelling that made it look bad. I’ll try post a pic sometime. I looked really funny =D I look fine now except for this black eye which will disappear in a day or two. I’m definitely not joining Taekwondo tournaments anymore. And I want to emphasize that.
