Still Having Trouble

Tuesday, May 31st, 2005

I’ve been thinking about this the entire summer! Here’s the link to my thread to read about it:

Here’s my problem….

If I cannot do anything else but eat the bacon (check out the link), how can there be free will then?
For us to have free will, we need to have the capacity to choose.  If I do not eat the bacon, this god wouldn’t then be omniscient. Right now I’ll be reading this.

I’ll try to opine (that is, if I don’t forget).

Stuff….

My mom and dad’s back in Cebu. I just watched the movie Madagascar around 4 hours ago. I’d give that movie 3.5 points from a scale from 1 to 5. I’ve also found this interesting book called "Le Miserables" maybe I should get it tomorrow. Vacation’s almost over and I’m starting to miss school (did I just say that?). To be encouraged to go to school, I’m only allowed to get my allowance if I go there; so I have to stock up before the vacation. I really can’t wait to go to Australia. One of the problem’s that my parents are going to miss me (of course, I will to). They are just going to delay the inevitable. What seems to me as the the only dlemma’s that whether I can still play badminton.

Whew! I’m finally back here. I have only about two weeks left until vacation ends (nooo!).
Just yesterday (it’s 12:07 am), my mom left for Manila for an indefinite period. She’s going to surprise my dad on his graduation. Right now, there’s something being run by the London Film School. I’m not sure if that’s the correct name. My dad’s there right now.

I have the house all to myself! (with my brother and sis’ of course :-<   )
It’s quite late right now (yawn). That’s all for now.

Staying….

Saturday, May 14th, 2005

I’ve decided to stay in Springdale. Anywayz’ I might only be here till December. The schoolyear in Australia starts on late January. It’s taking an eternity for my mom to apply for migration. I’m thinking of applying for myself as a student. I have also found the school that I’ll be studying in. It’s called Karabar Highschool. It has a debate club! It also has distance education like my old school (CDLI).
highschool in Australia has six years instead of the usual four; which I think, is rather good. To make up for this, college is also shortened by 2 years.

Which School?

Monday, May 9th, 2005

I’m thinking of transferring schools. I have 3 choices; I can go to Sacred Heart, I can go back to St. Francis…. Oh wait, I only have two! Right now, I choose Sacred Heart. I’m going to check out the school tomorrow. Right now, I’m in Springdale. My biggest dilemma for me if I choose to transfer schools is that "What am I going to do with my Filipino?" If you guys don’t know, I am extremely horrible in Filipino. I heard that Sacred Heart has Chinese; this might be hard. Oh well, I can ask all I can tomorrow. Oh yeah, what do you guys think? Please comment!

In serendipity, I found a quote that probably answers the question of "nothing".

"The supreme paradox of all thought is the attempt to discover something that thought cannot think."
